In Conlusion: Welcome to your new position as a Business Coordinator

As we discussed, being in a business position is crucial for the practice’s overall success.  Often, patients will talk to you more than in any other position in the office.

As we discussed, this position requires positive communication and customer service skills.

You will also learn you are the person that dictates the overall production of your practice. They are in direct control of doctors’ and hygienists’ time, and you will only ever produce what they schedule.

You will learn about building profitable schedules that prevent team burnout.

Besides being in charge of the most crucial system, and scheduling, you will learn about collecting, presenting finances, and confirming appointments. We will learn in future lessons how to create schedules, confirm, and collect money while providing excellent customer service to patients and building relationships with them.
