What about Fructose in fruits?
People with sensitive GI systems or those that have sensitivity to sugars should avoid fructose, even the kind found in fruit.
Many people can have SIBO (Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth) which can cause bloating, gas and an increase in inflammatory markers.
Many people can also have insulin resistance, which means they have a more challenging time processing sugars, and sugar remains in their blood for a prolonged period, which ultimately puts stress on their liver and pancreas.
Diabetics should not eat fructose, including fruits.
