Why is it Sensitive?
The steps we use to restore the tooth structure create sensitivity and irritation to the inside part of the tooth, nerve space.
This is frustrating to patients. They do not have the symptoms before most cavities are removed but may develop sensitivity after the cavities are removed.
Root canal space is a closed system and does not get lots of blood supply to it, any trauma to the tooth, including fixing cavities can irritate the tooth and lead to developing a toothache.
